down the Runway!

Vancouver local Cassie Dee has been creating a line of dresses specifically for  The Velvet Room Boutique for the past year. Her style is remarkably feminine yet holds a level of sophistication that is immediately recognized.
Cassie’s talent will soon be recognized nationally. She was just announced the winner of the Mercedes-Benz Start Up mentorship program and heads to Toronto’s LG Fashion Week this September to showcase her spring 2012 Collection.
Cassie Dee’s philosophy has always been that “real fashion, true fashion, should make getting dressed easier”. Her collection is timeless and carries over from season to season making her clothing a good buy as well as a smart style choice. Congratulations Cassie!

Model Natalie Cnyer is wearing the popular Narcissist 'Pamela Dress' as she sets the mood for John's digital project. Thanks to Narcissist Designs, the Velvet Room Boutique, Stylist Jessica Elliott, Model Natalie and Make up artists Kristin Capat, the project was a huge success. Congratulations John!

FDCC Sponsors Trip to LG Fashion Week!

Toronto Fashion Week was amaizing with thanks to the Fashion Design Council of Canada. We were selected as one of Vancouver`s top retailers supporting Canadian Designers and were flown out to Toronto to view new lines! I was able to meet many new and established designers and put faces to so many designers we have been working with over the past four years. (It was great to meet all of you in person).

Toronto Designer Sarah Stevenson previewed an amaizing line up of her own silk textile designs. (Her spring line is in store now),
