Browsing through endless racks of clothing to find that perfect item can be exhausting and frustrating. Too often women are afraid to ask for help and end up purchasing something that is unflattering or that results in buyer’s remorse.

At the Velvet Room Boutique, we create a comfortable environment with the service women need to find what they are really looking for. 

We know you want to find something that is stylish, suits your personality and most importantly, you feel good in. We pride ourselves in helping women find the perfect styles for their physique and lifestyle.

 

The following tips will ensure your shopping experience is successful.


Tip # 1  Talk about it
Are you looking for an outfit for a special occasion?  Wanting to update your wardrobe? Searching for a wish list item?

Share the details behind the purpose of your shopping trip and allow the sales associates to direct you to appropriate items that will suit your occasion or personal style. Remember most garments don’t have hanger appeal and the sales associates know the inventory, how it fits and how it suits different body types.
 

Tip #2  Relax and have fun!
Many women are guilty of dwelling on so-called body flaws and having preconceived notions of what styles they suit best. At the Velvet Room Boutique, items are hand picked to suit a variety of physiques and all garments are tried on when they arrive. The sales associates know exactly how things fit so be open to trying on a variety of styles. We can help you find ways to accent or camouflage certain areas so that you feel great!

 

Tip #3  Accessorize
The final touches define personal style. Select quality fashionable accessories that will complete the look and expand your wardrobe. At the Velvet Room Boutique we build relationships with our clients and encourage women to play with fashion. The shopping experience is a personal style session where clients walk away with ideas and tips to utilize in their own wardrobes.

Our boutique opened its doors just over two & a half years ago to a delightful crowd and eclectic mix of women from all over this city. To this day, we still get ladies wandering in, remembering their first visit ‘a couple years ago’ and commenting on how exciting, fresh and forward the store has become - an evolution. We've been able to work with designers to customize designs suited to our clients. So thanks for letting us know what is on your wish lists.

As Vancouver's only all Canadian boutique, hosting over seventy lines, we hold a special place in the fashion world. We support our home-grown talent and strive to open doors for new designers across Canada by hosting their products in our unique boutique.
